If you think I am perhaps overreacting, then consider the number and more importantly, the kind of people who attended this boot-marching, corporate sponsored, hate-festival:
1. Racists
2. Birthers
3. Commie-fearing idiots
4. Religious Extremists
5. Confederates
6. White
Complete with confederate flags, Nazi images, and so forth, this was truly an inspiration for propagandists everywhere of how to scare the stupid into a stampede against their own best interests. Via Think Progress:

It seems to me that corporations are the new plantations. The health industry plantations got together and sponsored massive fear propaganda in order to get the above groups to join hands and march together in demonstration against themselves and their nation. What is clear, however, is despite whatever genre of hate drove the glue-sniffers out of their bed-sheets, this to me is a serious alert that the Confederacy has awakened.
Call it what you want. I think the most obvious name for this is a Cold Civil War. We, the North (not all North, but a good chunk of it), are against torture, illegal and unnecessary wars, big government, and religion in our politics. Or if you want to shorten that, we are for the Constitution.
The South is for illegal and unnecessary wars, big government (don't let the talking points fool you, these idiots stayed at home when Cheney was giving out massive no-bid contracts and profiting off of the deaths of Americans), and a theocracy. Or, if you want to shorten that, they are still the Confederacy.
We want health care for all. They want health care but are told by corporations that it is socialism, communism, and fascism. We want lower taxes. They want lower taxes, but are told by corporations that only the rich should have their taxes lowered. We want a strong and vibrant economy. They want a strong and vibrant economy but are told by corporations to ignore corporate abuses. They believe these things, which makes them drones.
Some are likely ignorant and cannot be blamed for their ignorance. Yet, many are entirely racist and really don't care why they showed up. Some of these people so hate Obama, they will attend a cock fight and proclaim it Obama's corrupting influence - so no surprise they are marching.
But with all of that said, the fact is that these attendees are nothing but the foot soldiers of a far more serious and threatening problem. Corporations - using media outlets like Fox - have spread propaganda in order to frighten, misinform, confuse, and all but push these people into the streets.
In response, I think it is time to finally out these corporations as the instigators. Who are Dick Army's health industry clients? Who are the CEOs of those companies? Those, my friends, are the real problem. They have declared war.
I leave it to you to decide if corporations have the right to launch this kind of attack using American citizens as their weapons (spoon-fed, frightened, misinformed) against the interests of the public good. I do not believe corporations should have this kind of power. Maybe Il Duce would be proud, but George Washington is spinning in his grave.
